Join local writer and human rights activist, Trina Moyles, to celebrate the launch of her first book Women Who Dig: Farming, Feminism, and the Fight to Feed the World.

Hosted by Erinne Adachi-Sevigny, the evening will highlight women’s global achievements in growing food and community development, and include a reading by the author.

Signed books will be available for purchase at $30/book.

All proceeds from a silent auction will support Change for Children Association’s farming and gender equality projects in Guatemala.

Join local writer, Trina Moyles, to celebrate the launch of her first book Women Who Dig: Farming, Feminism, and the Fight to Feed the World.

The evening will include a reading by the author that highlights the achievements of local women farmers in the Peace Country. Portraits of women farmers from around the world will be featured as a month-long art display at Java Domain.

Signed books will be available for purchase at $30/book. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to support the local women’s shelter.
